At the August 18th meeting the Assembly got a sneak peak at the letter from National for the Feast of Asmá' 182, the letter was read and reviewed. The letter prompted a suggestion that we find a way to study the Turning Point document referenced in the Assembly letter.

The Assembly also created a committee to organize regular quarterly reflection meeting. the dates have not yet been set, but Adam, Jacque, and Soha are looking for a member of the community to join this committee.

The Secretary reports that there is are Assembly trainings on Saturday Aug 23rd and Saturday Sept 13th.

August 24th starts the beginning of Family Promise week. As of the writing of this letter the only slots not filled are meals on Friday and Saturday and an overnight on Thursday. A huge thank you for everyone one who had offered to assist with this. The Family housed at the Church of the Nazarene is a Young mother with four children. Please contact Adam if you have any questions on how you can help.
